About Dr. Katzen
Dr. J. Timothy Katzen is dedicated to helping massive weight loss patients achieve a better-contoured shape through cosmetic plastic surgery procedures. He is an experienced and highly trained professional who is committed to providing patients with a safe surgical process.
Dr. Katzen received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. and then went on to participate in fellowship programs for craniofacial surgery, microsurgery, and burn surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), as well as a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and International College of Surgeons.
His attention to detail and compassion towards patients are what provide individuals peace of mind when under his care. Dr. Katzen understands that body contouring procedures after massive weight loss are a delicate matter, which is why he has specialized in minimizing scarring after surgery.
